Regular biography

Professor Luke Abraham is a Research Professor in the Yusuf Hamied Department of Chemistry at the University of Cambridge. His research focuses on chemistry-climate interactions and Earth-system modelling, particularly through the development of the UKCA chemistry-aerosol-climate model, which is part of the UKESM Earth-system model. He collaborates with the Met Office and other institutions to advance coupled atmosphere-ocean-chemistry models. Abraham is also involved in training and outreach, including UKCA tutorials and Carpentries instruction. He is a Fellow of the Software Sustainability Institute and contributes to the National Centre for Atmospheric Science.
