Gregory Johnson

Gregory Johnson is an Associate Teaching Professor in the Department of Mathematical Sciences at Carnegie Mellon University. He teaches introductory mathematics courses such as calculus, differential equations, and concepts of mathematics, as well as higher-level courses including abstract algebra, number theory, set theory, and mathematical logic. His research focuses on mathematical logic, particularly model theory with an emphasis on abstract elementary classes. Johnson is also interested in algebraic number theory and has engaged in research with undergraduate students, most recently guiding them in a project extending Giuga's conjecture to rings of algebraic integers.
