Jessica Verde Tracey

Jessica Verde Tracey is a lecturer at the Cornell Peter and Stephanie Nolan School of Hotel Administration, part of the Cornell SC Johnson College of Business. She teaches courses in accounting and hotel development and management. Her research interests include accounting, finance, hospitality and services design, management and operations, and real estate. Prior to joining the Nolan School, she was a visiting lecturer in the Sloan Program in Health Administration and an instructor for eCornell from 2008 to 2024. She is also the founder and principal of JVT Hospitality, providing advisory services to hotel operators, developers, and investors. Tracey earned her BS with distinction from the Nolan School and her MBA with distinction from the Samuel Curtis Johnson Graduate School of Management, along with a graduate minor in real estate.
