Matthew Shair

Matthew Shair is a Professor of Chemistry and Chemical Biology at Harvard University, affiliated with the Department of Chemistry and Chemical Biology. His research focuses on bioorganic chemical biology and organic chemistry, with an emphasis on utilizing small molecules and cell biology to investigate the mechanistic basis of human diseases, identify new druggable targets, and develop therapeutics. His laboratory, led by Ashley Richardson as the laboratory manager/administrator, integrates interdisciplinary approaches to advance therapeutic discovery.
