Regular biography
Liang Zheng is an Associate Professor FHEA Associate Director International in the School of Computing at The Australian National University. His research interests include computer vision, with a focus on applications such as person re-identification and medical image understanding, as well as fundamental problems like dataset-level learning, deep learning, and synthetic data analysis. He holds a Computer Science Futures Fellowship and an ARC DECRA Fellowship. Zheng received his PhD (EE) from Tsinghua University in 2015 and his Bachelor of Science (Life Science) from Tsinghua University in 2010. He has served as an Area Chair for CVPR 2021, ECCV 2020, ACM Multimedia 2020-2021, and as an Associate Editor for IEEE T-CSVT. He is looking for PhD students with strong English and coding abilities, and a record of research publications.
